From the beginnings of the Institute, education has been a privileged expression of our charism…Saint Raphaela Mary and her sister Pilar understood it as the pedagogy of the heart.

 This strong intuition of our Foundresses was incarnated in a style of education able to give the greatest importance to the person – image of God – and one that formed those values that spring from the Eucharist: sense of community, justice, solidarity, peace… An education that gives results, that benefits the most needy, women, in order to call forth in everyone a free and committed response to Christ in the Church… that is to say, being witnesses to the Gospel in society.

Today we carry out our educational mission along with lay people and with a vision of hope that offers as a goal academic excellence for all and an atmosphere that promotes personal development. We want to continue to create in our educational institutions – formal and informal – an atmosphere of respect, joy, reconciliation, forgiveness and festivity; one that seeks to promote interpersonal encounter and inclusion within the educational system.

In this changing world we have the deep conviction that education continues to offer many possibilities to form persons who are responsible, motivated to collaborate in building a society – local and global – that is more humane, more familiar and open to the greatness of our vocation in Christ.
