“How many children God has!” Saint Raphaela Mary would have exclaimed on seeing gathered there in her house men and women of many races, languages and cultures, all members of the family of the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  The Eucharist of thanksgiving was celebrated there yesterday by Rev. Rafael Porras del Corral SJ, great-nephew of the saint, who was joined by the H. E. Cristopher Zoa, Bishop of Sangmelima - Cameroon and many other priests.  It was a joyful celebration which brought together Handmaids, members of St. Raphaela Mary’s family, members of the ACI Family and friends from near and far. The Eucharist ended with “coplas” sung in her honor by the people of her beloved town of Pedro Abad.  All of us united  as a family to commemorate and celebrate Saint Raphaela Mary, woman of communion,  model of humility, simplicity, universality and peace.
