Centenary Celebration in London
On 11th June, the Feast of the Sacred Heart, the Province of England/Ireland commemorated the centenary of the foundation of the Institute in London. Participating in the solemn Eucharistic celebration were the Sisters of the Province, Sr. Inmaculada Fukasawa and three Assistant Generals, religious of other congregations, staff members of the school, ACI Family members, and friends of the community. There was a wonderful spirit of celebration, befitting this historic occasion. After the Eucharistic celebration, a reception was held in the auditorium of the school.
Feast of Saint Raphaela Mary On May 18 we celebrate the Feast of Saint Raphaela Mary of the Sacred Heart, the foundress of the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Our congregation currently serves the Church in 25 countries. Faithful to the call of our General Congregation XVIII, the Handmaids strive to live our universality as communion, embracing the richness of different cultures, as a real alternative to an increasingly violent and fragmented world.

Dear Sisters and Members of the ACI Family:
We the members of the International Commission of the ACI Family are meeting here in Rome, in the house of the General Curia, in order to organize our work with the goal of carrying out the tasks entrusted to us by the First International Assembly of the ACI Family (Rome, 2009).
We are working with joy, enthusiasm and high hopes. We put our meeting into the Hands of Jesus, and we ask Him, through the intercession of Saint Raphaela Mary, to help us to be attentive and open to the Holy Spirit so that this, His ACI Family, may continue to grow and bear much fruit.

Tertians begin the spiritual exercises
On Monday, April 26, our Tertians will begin their month of Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius in Torricella, where the beauty of nature and the atmosphere of silence are conducive to prayer. Let us keep them in our prayers during this very special time of encounter with the Lord.
