Remembering the birth of Saint Rafaela María, our mother, sister and friend, we had the joy of celebrating our First Vows. They are for us the experience of an Alliance, a deep experience of being a Body and a desire to make the Kingdom flesh for all.
With this Almighty God, whose power is to make himself small and fragile in a piece of bread, we make our Covenant of Love. And with our people, with their pains, hopes and struggles, we choose to live chastity, poverty and obedience in our daily lives. . During the Eucharist, the priest expressed that love was breathed in the temple. It is love that tells us that we are valuable and loved; it is the love with which we want to respond to him; and it is the love that we learn from Jesus: his ways, his style, his tenderness and compassion.
In this Archdiocesan Church of Buenos Aires, in this Parish of San Benito Abad, in our family that is the Institute, in this our Argentine-Uruguayan Province, in this community of Belgrano, we root ourselves and we are a Pilgrim Body in the footsteps of Jesus . We make the vows to continue the mission of the Lord, together with others. It was very significant that our profession is together with the renewal of the vows of our sister Majo, which reminds us that we live our consecration as a community, from our charism and from the identity of our people.
Like Mary, the first Handmaid, we want to always seek and do the Will of God who reveals himself to us as Life for all. We walk with the trust placed in our Companion, only in Him, with Him, by Him and for Him.
